The development studio Rare Limited and their Nintendo 64 games

British development studio founded in 1985, it directly joins the fold of Nintendo and is the basis of several of the hits released on NES and Super NES, on which comes out Donkey Kong Contry, which will build the studio's reputation. Nintendo bought a 25% stake in the company in 1995 and made it an exclusive Nintendo 64 developer. The partnership will spawn some of the best games on the console. In 2002, Microsoft bought the company, which therefore now works exclusively on the Xbox systems.
